Cow helpline number
Sharing the streets with stray cows can sometimes be ruff. These gentle giants can get caught in traffic, creating a hairy situation for both them and motorists. The MCG has launched a helpline specifically for rescuing stray cows. Just dial 7290075866 to report a cow in need, and the Municipal corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) will send a team to mosey on over and relocate the bovine to a safe shelter.
While it’s great that there’s a helpline to look out for our bovine buddies, it’s important for pet parents (of all kinds!) to be responsible. The MCG imposes a fine of Rs 5,100 on cattle owners who let their cows stray. This not only creates a safety hazard but can also be a huge inconvenience. Here’s hoping this initiative keeps both our furry (and not-so-furry) friends safe on the streets and highways of Gurugram.
How to report an injured stray in Delhi NCR
If you find an injured or distressed animal in Delhi NCR, acting fast gives it the best chance.
- Call a 24×7 helpline or shelter from the list above nearest to you (several cover specific areas of Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad).
- Share your exact location plus a short video of the animal’s injury.
- Say whether the animal can stand or walk, so they know what to send.
- Stay nearby if it is safe until the rescue team or ambulance arrives.
- For a badly hurt animal, call a dog ambulance (Gopal or Pankaj, listed below) or take it to the nearest shelter, and always follow up on its recovery.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has launched a dog sterilization module on their MCD 311 app. The app encourages citizens of Delhi, to Communicate directly with the government to resolve issues in their neighborhood. The app intends to update everything from the pickup of the dog to its arrival at the dog sterilization centre to the date of surgery and the dog’s release, along with photographs.
Please try to wait, and if possible rescue the dog till the help arrives. If you can, drop the injured dog at one of the animal shelters. Kindly always ensure to follow up with the respective NGO/shelter on the dog’s condition and ensure that post-rehabilitation, they release the dog in the same area where he was rescued from.
MCD dog helpline number: how to reach Delhi’s civic animal services
Searching for an “MCD dog helpline number”? Here is the honest picture. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) handles stray-dog matters — sterilisation (ABC), dog-bite cases and pickups — mainly through the MCD 311 app, not a single public phone line. Raise a dog complaint on the app and you can track it from pickup to surgery to release.
For an actual person on the phone, use the Delhi government’s 24×7 animal helpline: 011-23967555, run by the Animal Husbandry Department out of the 24-hour veterinary hospital near Pul Mithai, Tis Hazari. It is the closest thing Delhi has to a round-the-clock civic dog helpline, and it covers MCD areas.
For an injured stray that needs rescue right now, the NGO ambulances listed above will usually reach you faster than any civic line — keep both handy.

Why no one raise voice against animal cruelty.
Just because they are animals they don’t where to do pee and poop doesn’t mean he deserves such cruelty..

He harash me and he said came everyday and clean that pee and poop..
Infront of everyone I faced such harassment and sadly no one protects me ..

Please contact me if you see any white black puppy which has uncontrollable body movements.

Hello,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring an urgent matter to your attention regarding an injured dog in our neighborhood.
Recently, we noticed a dog in our street who appears to be in distress. The poor animal seems to have sustained injuries to its hind leg and is visibly in pain. As concerned residents, we have been trying to help the dog in whatever way we can, but the severity of the injuries requires professional care and attention.
We believe that your organization, with its expertise and dedication to animal welfare, could provide the necessary assistance and support to this injured dog. We are hopeful that your team can intervene, assess the situation, and provide the appropriate medical treatment or care required to alleviate the dog’s suffering.
It is essential to act swiftly, as the dog’s condition seems to be worsening, and we are worried about its well-being and recovery. Your prompt response and intervention in this matter would make a significant difference in the life of this distressed animal.

Hello Parveen,
Thank you for reaching out to us, and we truly appreciate your concern for the injured dog in your neighborhood. We understand the urgency of the situation and the importance of providing immediate care to the distressed animal.
However, we would like to clarify that we are a pet blog aimed at driving adoptions and promoting animal welfare. While we are deeply committed to helping animals find loving homes, we do not have a physical shelter or a presence in Delhi NCR or any other location.
In cases like this, we encourage you to contact local animal shelters or private veterinary clinics in your area. These organizations and professionals are better equipped to provide the necessary medical attention and care that the injured dog requires. They have the expertise and resources to assess the situation, administer treatment, and ensure the well-being and recovery of the animal.
We commend your efforts to assist the dog and support your initiative in seeking help for the distressed animal. Local animal shelters and veterinary clinics are in the best position to respond promptly and provide the appropriate assistance.
If you are unsure about the nearest animal shelters or private vets, we recommend conducting an online search or contacting your local animal welfare organizations for guidance.

Subject: Concerns Regarding [Issue] and Its Impact on Dogs and Wildlife
Dear [Recipient’s Name],
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to express my concerns about a matter that holds great significance for both our beloved canine companions and the environment in which they coexist. As a responsible dog owner and a concerned citizen, I believe it is important to address an issue that pertains to our local forested areas.
The [Name of Forested Area] has always held a special place in the hearts of our community, offering a sanctuary for both humans and wildlife alike. It is with deep appreciation that I commend the efforts of the Forester Department in preserving and maintaining the natural beauty and ecological balance of this treasured space. However, recent developments have raised concerns among dog owners like myself.
It has come to my attention that there have been [describe the issue, e.g., increased deforestation, changes in recreational policies, construction activities] in the [Name of Forested Area]. While I understand that these measures might be essential for various reasons, I am particularly concerned about the potential impact on our canine companions who have enjoyed this space for exercise, play, and companionship.
Dogs play a vital role in the lives of many individuals and families within our community. They contribute to physical and mental well-being, foster connections among residents, and add a sense of vibrancy to our outdoor spaces. The [Name of Forested Area] has been a place where responsible dog owners have come together to ensure that our pets can experience the beauty of nature while respecting its fragility.
I kindly request that the Forester Department consider the following points:
Designated Dog-Friendly Areas: It would be greatly appreciated if designated areas within the forested space could be preserved or created where dogs can be allowed to roam freely while minimizing disturbance to other visitors and local wildlife.
Educational Initiatives: Implementing educational programs to raise awareness among dog owners about responsible behavior in natural spaces, including waste management, leash policies, and wildlife protection, could be beneficial for maintaining a harmonious environment.
Collaborative Dialogue: Engaging in an open dialogue with the local community and dog owners would help ensure that decisions made regarding the forested area are inclusive and reflect the needs of all stakeholders.
I understand the complexities involved in balancing conservation efforts with recreational use, and I am confident that a solution that accommodates both aspects can be reached through collaboration and understanding.
Thank you for your time and consideration of these concerns. I look forward to hearing from you and hope that we can work together to ensure the continued well-being of o
Sincerely,
Dear sir/madam

Thanks For sharing but Most of these NGOs are Hopeless. They are just making money and when you call them for any urgent help, the very first question they will ask is “How much donation you can give” I’m taking care of 10+ strays all alone without any support. I called and request for support to many of them 3-4 times in last 3-4 year (only when it was critical case) There was no help at all, one NGO was referring to other NGO then other to other. So no hope from them. They are getting huge funds and big amount of donation but when you actually need them, they are just hopeless.
