The Dog wins Oscar?

The academy has for long robbed our dear dogs of silverware.

In the inaugural Academy Awards of 1929, an unexpected twist occurred – the Best Actor vote was altered, and the coveted title didn’t go to the top vote-getter. The surprising choice? Rin-Tin-Tin, the legendary dog!

In 2012, Uggie (The Artist) was snubbed despite a fan moment asking the academy to reconsider the rules. That’s when I tuned out of the Academy Awards. Uggie deserved that win. #JusticeForUggie?

When will the headlines read – The dog wins Oscar?

And you thought Leonardo de Caprio was the only one who had a tiff with the Academy?

If they started giving out oscars to animals who should get one? Beethoven from Beethoven, Willy from Free Willy, and Chance, Sassy, and Shadow from Homeward Bound. The dogs in John Carpenter’s “The Thing” delivered Oscar-worthy performances, the lead dog was like Daniel Day-Lewis of dogs! Who are your nominations?

Also from the canine detectives, why did the dog watch CNBC?

An award meant just for the good boys and girls of cinema, Palm dog awards.
