Why dogs don’t drink?

I don’t drink.
Don’t get me wrong, some of the most interesting people I have come across- family, friends or fictional characters, have had more alcohol concentration in their blood than hemoglobin. And I have had no problem whatsoever loving them. I am not judging them, after all what bad can alcohol do to people except for turning some of them into little agents of chaos─ verbal vertigo, vomit and violence:)

Dogs are minor angels…

“Dogs are minor angels, and I don’t mean that facetiously. They love unconditionally, forgive immediately, are the truest of friends, willing to do anything that makes us happy, etcetera. If we attributed some of those qualities to a person we would say they are special. If they had ALL of them, we would call them angelic. But because it’s “only” a dog, we dismiss them as sweet or funny but little more. However when you think about it, what are the things that we most like in another human being? Many times those qualities are seen in our dogs every single day– we’re just so used to them that we pay no attention.”
― Jonathan Carroll

Letter from the pup

I am a Puppy, and I am a creature with feelings and drives much like your own, but yet also very different. Although I am NOT a human in a dog suit, neither am I an unfeeling robot who can instantly obey your every whim. I truly DO want to please you, and be a part of your family, and your life. You got me (I hope) because you want a loving partner and companion, so do not relegate me to the backyard when I get bigger, do not judge me harshly but instead mold me with gentleness and guidelines and training into the kind of family member you want me to be.
