Pet-Friendly Cafes in Delhi NCR: Where Your Dog Can Sit (2026)

At Elsa’s Dogpark & Cakery in Gurugram’s Sector 69, the gate rules run longer than the cafe menu. Your dog needs a vaccination card covering DHPPiL, rabies, kennel cough and canine coronavirus. Puppies under five months stay home, so do females in heat, the leash goes back on at the exit, and the pool opens only at weekends, booked by phone. Then she gets a fenced, leash-free park with tunnels and slopes, and you get coffee and a cake.

Most pet-friendly cafes in Delhi NCR publish none of that. Some only welcome dogs outdoors, some ask you to bring your dog’s own food, and Café Dori’s original outlet at Dhan Mill has closed. So for each cafe below we’ve listed where your dog can sit, any rules we could find and whether there’s a dog menu, with the newest evidence we found dated 2025 or 2026. Everything was last checked on 10 October 2026.

Call before a first visit, especially with a big dog, and keep the vaccination card on your phone.

South Delhi: Chhatarpur, Mehrauli and Sunder Nursery

Café Dori, now at Sunder Nursery. Google lists Café Dori’s Dhan Mill outlet as permanently closed, and the brand’s own page now names its Sunder Nursery bistro, in Nizamuddin, as the pet-friendly one, alongside Vasant Vihar. Café Dori has a dog menu with “pupcakes” and scrambled eggs with vegetables, though no prices are published. Sunder Nursery charges ₹50 for an adult ticket and is strict about leashes: its own rules say visitors whose dog is off the leash may be refused entry, and dogs should stay away from the water bodies.

The Palette, Dhan Mill. On the first floor at 287-288 Dhan Mill, with indoor seating and a large outdoor area with swings, open 10:30 am to 11 pm. It has offered dog treats such as a carrot and peanut-butter cake and boiled chicken.

Colocal, Dhan Mill. The chocolate cafe has a small pet menu at no charge (biscuits, chicken, eggs) and an al fresco area for dogs. In October 2026 its Dhan Mill listing showed “temporarily closed for dining”, so check before you go; the Khan Market and Noida outlets are open.

Quick Brown Fox Coffee Roasters, Dhan Mill. Open-air seating where leashed dogs have been welcome, 10 am to 10 pm. Our most recent evidence is from late 2024, so call ahead.

South Delhi: Hauz Khas, Safdarjung, Vasant Vihar and GK

Diggin, Anand Lok and Chanakyapuri. Dogs sit in the garden, not indoors, and there are resident dogs, so keep a shy or reactive dog on the leash. The Anand Lok branch may limit dogs to certain days, so ask.

Ate (Altogether Experimental), Saidulajab and Safdarjung. Outdoor seating where dogs can relax off the leash, and cakes, biscuits and snacks made for dogs. Check with the branch you’re heading to, as pet policy may differ between the two.

Greenr Café, Vasant Vihar and Gurugram. Water bowls on request, but bring your dog’s own food; the cafe asks guests not to feed dogs from the table. Open 12:30 pm to 10 pm. The 32nd Avenue branch in Gurugram is also tagged pet friendly.

Fika Coffee Co., Hauz Khas Village. Indoor, outdoor and rooftop seating, open 7:30 am to 2 am. It’s tagged pet friendly, but check whether the rooftop is open to dogs before you climb the stairs.

Blue Tokai, Hauz Khas and other branches. The Hauz Khas cafe has a small outdoor area that gets crowded for bigger dogs. Policy varies by branch, so ask at yours.

Agama Café, GK-2 M Block Market. Open noon to 11 pm, tagged pet friendly, and reported to have a separate pet menu. Lha Kitchen in Humayunpur and Café Saka in Safdarjung also welcome dogs, with outdoor seating at Lha.

Central Delhi, Lodhi and Dwarka

Subko, Lodhi Colony. In New Khanna Market, open 8 am to 9 pm, with outdoor seating that welcomes pets.

Café Lota, Crafts Museum. At gate 2 of the National Crafts Museum on Bhairon Marg, open 9 am to 9 pm. Dogs sit outside, water is provided, and the kitchen will cook something simple if you ask. The museum may have its own entry rules, so call first.

Puppychino, Shahpur Jat. Delhi’s dog cafe since 2016, on the third floor at 119 Shishan Bhawan, with a dining area, an indoor play zone where dogs run off the leash, and a menu of dog cupcakes, waffles and plain chicken. It also runs day boarding. Our most recent dated evidence is from April 2025, so call before you go.

Café Uncover, Dwarka Sector 12. Indoor and outdoor seating, staff used to pets, and separate dog and cat menus.

Gurugram

Elsa’s Dogpark & Cakery, Sector 69. Near Tulip Chowk off Sohna Road. The rules are in the opening of this guide; book playtime in advance and expect an entry charge, which isn’t published. Reviews from September 2026 mention the vaccination check at the gate, the cafe and the weekend pool. Opening times differ between listings, so call.

Tail Club, Sector 59. On Raisina Road, about an acre of leash-free lawn with a cafe that runs separate menus for dogs and people. A vaccination certificate is strictly required at the gate. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 7 to 11 am and 5 to 9 pm; closed Mondays. The entry fee isn’t published.

Under The Neem, Karma Lakelands, Sector 83. A dedicated pet seating section and two dog bowls on the menu, a vegetarian one with lentils, vegetables and rice, and one with shredded chicken.

Also in Gurugram. Effingut on Golf Course Road has a lively outdoor section, and Unlocked on 32nd Avenue is tagged pet friendly. Barks & Meows at Gwal Pahari has indoor and outdoor play areas, a pool and its own pet menu, but its website has been taken over by spam, so phone them rather than search.

Noida

Sector 104 is Noida’s dog-friendly strip. Colocal, The Haven International Coffee House and Blue Tokai all have open-air seating where dogs are welcome, and Haven brings water bowls on request. In Sector 144, Roastery Coffee House has a semi-open patio and gives dogs free treats, and Blue Tokai has a second outlet. At DLF Mall of India in Sector 18, Café Delhi Heights lets pets into selected areas only.

Cafes we left off, and why

Café Dori’s Dhan Mill outlet is closed. Boho Café in Noida is permanently closed. Fur Ball Story on Golf Course Road, once known for its dog pool, now runs as an online pet store with no cafe on its site. For Tabula Beach Café, Maruchi, Leo’s, The Brown Box, Big Fat Sandwich and a handful of others, we found nothing after 2023 to confirm they still welcome dogs. If you know otherwise, tell us and we’ll check.

Rules worth knowing in Delhi NCR

In Delhi, MCD requires every pet dog to be registered on its pet portal, for ₹500 a year, and its first dog park at Jangpura will only let in registered, vaccinated dogs when it opens. Gurugram made registration compulsory again in June 2026, at ₹500 with a ₹250 renewal, and its order says dogs must be leashed whenever they leave home. In Noida, registration on the Noida Authority’s NAPR app costs ₹500 a year. Our dog licence guide has the details for each city, and our guide to dog parks in India covers Sunder Nursery, Lodhi Garden and the Jangpura park.

Pets aren’t allowed on the Delhi Metro, so plan the trip by car or cab.

Bring an indie

Several of these cafes, Elsa’s and Tail Club above all, are built for dogs that need room to run, which suits a young adopted indie. If you’re thinking about adopting, the dogs and cats up for adoption in Delhi NCR are listed by the people who rescued them, and our page of emergency animal helplines in Delhi NCR has the numbers to keep on your phone.
