Your Dog Has a Story. Let Us Help You Tell It.

At Dog with Blog, we believe that every dog is a philosopher in a fur coat. Since 2009, we’ve used this platform to give a voice to the voiceless but we know that the most powerful stories don’t always come from us. They come from you.

Whether you’ve navigated the “zoomies” of a new adoption, the quiet dignity of a senior dog’s final years, or the life-changing bond with an Indian Indie, we want to hear about it.

Share your dog stories!

What We Are Looking For

We aren’t looking for “perfect” writing or listicles found elsewhere on the web. We want the raw, the real, and the remarkable.

  • The “How We Met” Story: Did your dog find you at a busy intersection or a local shelter? Tell us about the moment you knew they were “the one.”

  • The Lesson: What has your dog taught you about patience, grief, or the simple joy of a morning walk?

  • The Advocacy Angle: Have you helped foster, rescue, or find a home for a dog in need? Your experience could be the roadmap someone else needs to start their own rescue journey.

  • Travel & Life: Real-world insights on navigating India (and beyond) with a dog by your side.

Why Share Your Story Here?

When you write for Dog with Blog, your story isn’t just a post; it’s a ripple in a very large pond.

  1. A Global Pack: Your words reach over 100,000 pet parents and advocates.

  2. Impact-First: Stories published here have directly helped facilitate over 1,000 adoptions. Your dog’s story could inspire someone to #AdoptDontShop.

  3. Human & Expert Oversight: Our editorial lead, Abhilasha, and medical advisor, Dr. Catherine Nicolaou, ensure your story is presented with the respect and context it deserves.

Submission Guidelines

  • Be Authentic: Write like you’re talking to a friend. We value your unique voice more than your grammar.

  • Photos Matter: Send us high-resolution photos of your dog. We want to see those soulful eyes!

  • Length: Aim for 600–1,000 words, but don’t stretch it. If you can say it in 400, say it in 400.

  • No “Pack Leader” or Dominance Myths: We only publish stories and advice rooted in positive, force-free companionship.

Ready to Join the Pack?

Email us your draft and 2–3 photos to cat@dogwithblog.in with the subject line: “Dog Story: [Dog’s Name] + [Your Name].” Note: Due to the volume of stories we receive, we can’t publish everything, but we read every single one. If your story is a fit, Abhilasha will reach out to you within 7 days.
