A three-and-a-half-year-old spayed cat in Andheri East needs a new home — Mumbai

She sits on your chest when you are sad. Her person has to leave Mumbai.

The story

The habit her person will miss most: when you are upset, she climbs onto your chest and stays there.

She is three and a half years old, white with black markings on her head and a black tail, and she started out on the street before someone took her in and raised her at home. Spayed, litter trained, well behaved. She still likes to head out for a while and come back, and she is equally settled indoors.

Her person has to leave Mumbai for Kolkata at short notice because of a family emergency, and cannot take her along. There are roughly two months to find her somewhere permanent. She comes with her own bed and litter box.

She has spent years being somebody’s cat. The ask is that it continues, in Andheri East or anywhere in Mumbai that will have her.
