Adoption Advocacy & Content Marketing Internship
Location: Remote
Since 2010, Dog with Blog has been at the forefront of India’s animal welfare landscape. We don’t just “blog”, we transform narratives. By championing Indian street dogs, kittens, and senior rescues, we’ve facilitated over 1,000 successful adoptions and built a community of 100k+ pet lovers.
Our work has been featured by National Geographic and HarperCollins, proving that authentic storytelling is the most powerful tool for advocacy. In an era of AI-generated noise, we are building the most trusted, human-centric resource for pet parents.
Dog with Blog Internship
We are looking for an intern who is “fluent in empathy” and savvy in digital strategy. This isn’t a desk job where you’ll be hiding behind a screen; it’s a role for a creator who wants to be on the ground, capturing the stories that matter. You will be the heartbeat of our digital presence, ensuring our mission reaches the right eyes and ears.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Experiential Storytelling: Crafting narratives that move beyond “information” to “inspiration.” You’ll use real-world rescue stories to drive emotional connection and adoptions.
- High-Utility Resource Building: Developing verified helplines, vet directories, and adoption checklists that provide instant, life-saving value to the community.
- Community & Brand Management: Managing daily interactions with our “pack” of followers and coordinating with ethical brand partners who share our values.
- Digital Strategy: Using your proficiency in social media and content tools to maintain our authority in the animal welfare space.
Who You Are
- A Natural Advocate: You are likely a pet parent, a rescuer, or a student of Communications, Journalism, or Social Work.
- Emotionally Intelligent: You understand the nuances of the human-animal bond and can translate that into compelling digital content.
- Digitally Savvy: You have a basic understanding of digital marketing and aren’t afraid to look at analytics to see how your stories are performing.
Why Join Us?
You will be mentored by experts in digital storytelling and advocacy. You will leave this internship with more than just a certificate; you’ll have a portfolio of work that has made a tangible, real-world impact.
How to Apply
We don’t want a standard cover letter. We want your story.
Send an email to cat@dogwithblog.in or Contact us with
- Your CV or LinkedIn profile.
