The story

Mintu and Chintu are male cats who turn one in November. Both are fully vaccinated and litter trained, and neither is sterilised yet. Their rescuer is talking to a vet about it, and the poster asks the adopter to get them neutered. They must be adopted together, and an indoor home is preferred.

They were rescued, so they take time to trust a new person. The poster calls Mintu bold and nonchalant, a cat who melts for belly rubs while asleep, and Chintu affectionate but easily scared. Once they trust you, the rescuer says, they are very loving.

The rescuer in Silchar, Assam lives with family members who do not like cats, and the conflict keeps getting worse. They have four cats at home plus a newborn, and are getting them neutered with help from Wild and Free. The aim is a home where every family member is happy to have these two.

Two more cats from the same house are also looking: Pushu, the stray mother cat, who is very loving once she trusts you and has had only her first vaccine dose, and Puchku, who turns six months in November, is extremely playful and has her third vaccine dose still to come. The rescuer has photos and videos on their Reddit profile.
