The story

Two ginger kittens, about 3 to 4 weeks old, lost their mother on 27 October 2026. Their two white littermates did not survive. The two left are both ginger.

Varun, who found them, is looking after them for now at his home in Anna Nagar East, Chennai. Their mother had settled them in a storage loft in his terrace garden, and they first sheltered inside a PVC pipe there. On the evening of 27 October he put out kitten milk replacer and kitten food close to them. They are now in a box lined with newspaper.

Kittens this young still depend on kitten milk replacer and a carer who can feed them on a regular schedule. They are not ready to leave their carer until they are eating on their own, so they need a foster or adopter who can take that on.
