The story

Four kittens, about 3 to 4 weeks old, lost their mother on 27 October 2026. Two are white and two are ginger or brown.

Varun, who found them, is looking after them for now at his home in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Their mother had settled them in a storage loft in his terrace garden, and they are sheltering inside a PVC pipe there. On the evening of 27 October he put out kitten milk replacer and kitten food close to them, and he plans to bring them down first thing the next morning.

Kittens this young still depend on kitten milk replacer and a carer who can feed them on a regular schedule. They are not ready to leave their carer until they are eating on their own, so they need a foster or adopter who can take that on.

The photo shows some of the kittens in the pipe. Clearer photos of each one will follow.
