The story

Chiggy’s story began on a rainy night. Her mother abandoned her, and she spent days crying and climbing a tall tree. It took her rescuer three to four days of luring her down with food. She was frail and frightened at first. A few weeks of care later, she is a playful, confident, affectionate kitten.

Chiggy is a female orange kitten, fully litter-trained and dewormed. She has had one dose of the Tricat vaccine, her rabies vaccination is due by 23 October, and vaccination records are available. She eats dry food and drinks water on her own.

She loves wand toys, chases her own tail, and starts purring the moment she smells her rescuer’s fingers. She can be shy with new people until she feels safe. She is comfortable sleeping alone overnight and managing for several hours by herself, which suits a working couple who can give her time before and after work.

Her rescuer wants a stable home where everyone in the family is on board with a new member, and where she will get patience and care.
