The story
She is a calico, not quite nine months old, and she is pregnant. The people looking after her in Bangalore are asking for a particular kind of adopter, and they say plainly why: they already have two cats, they have never seen a cat give birth, and they would rather she went to someone who has.
She is safe with them in the meantime. What they are looking for is a home that can carry her calmly through the rest of the pregnancy and the delivery, give her and the kittens a quiet corner, and get all of them sterilised when the time is right. When a commenter argued for a spay-abort instead, the finder replied that they had been planning to have her spayed after the birth.

We’re looking for a safe and loving home for a nearly 9-month-old calico girl.
She is currently pregnant, so we’re especially hoping to find someone who has experience caring for a pregnant cat and/or has handled a cat giving birth before.
We already have two cats and unfortunately don’t have experience with cat births, so we feel she would be better cared for by someone who is comfortable with the process and can give her the attention and care she needs during pregnancy and after delivery.
She is looking for a patient, caring home where she can feel safe and comfortable.
Preference:
• Experience with pregnant cats/cat births
• Ability to provide a calm, safe space for her and the kittens
• Someone committed to responsible care and, ideally, sterilisation of the mother and kittens when appropriate
