Heena is about a year old and blind. She showed up to us in really bad shape- extremely malnourished, anemic, in heat, and exhausted because she lost all her kittens. She was pushed out from where she was staying because she was crying for them.
We’ve spent the last few months getting her stable, and she’s doing much better now. We took her to the Eye Vet in gurgaon to see if she had a chance to gain her vision back but unfortunately they said it wouldnt be possible. She’s scheduled to be spayed this week and is finally at a point where we can start looking for a home for her.
A blind cat isn’t an easy ask, but she’s a low-maintenance, gentle presence and adapts better than you’d expect. Just needs a consistent space and someone patient.
