The story

A group of residents near Panathur Lake in Bangalore found 8 stray puppies and their parents covered in hundreds of ticks and very weak. With a neighbour’s help, a vet treated them with a tick and flea spot-on, deworming and antibiotics for their skin. Two puppies were then killed by a water tanker, so 6 are left.

The puppies are almost one month old and recovering. For the next 2 weeks the rescuers are feeding them up so they gain weight, and vaccination will be needed soon. Once they are healthy, the aim is foster or forever homes so they are not left on the road.

If you are in Bangalore and can foster or adopt one, or know someone who can, comment or DM the poster on Reddit. They plan to post updates on how the puppies are doing.
