The story
Smudge is a calico of about 2 years, rescued by a veterinary student in Mumbai who is juggling too many emergency cases to give her the dedicated home she deserves. She is spayed, healthy and up to date on routine care, with a past history of a difficult labour (dystocia).
She is gentle, quiet and sweet once she feels safe. Give her a high perch to watch the room from and she is content. Then she will insist on sleeping on your bed, right next to your face.
She does best as the only cat, or with an experienced adopter who can give her a quiet spot such as a cat tree or shelves. She suits someone who likes a calm, independent companion. She is in Mumbai, and the rescuer will transport her to a nearby city for the right home.

Hey everyone, I really need your help!
I rescued Smudge a while back, and she’s still waiting for her forever family. As a veterinary student managing multiple emergency cases, my personal bandwidth and resources are stretched thin, and I desperately want Smudge to find the peaceful, dedicated home she truly deserves.
She is currently in Mumbai, but for the right adopter, we are willing to relocate/transport her to nearby cities!

Health Status: Completely healthy, spayed, and fully up-to-date on routine care. H/o of abortion due to dystocia.
Personality: Very gentle, quiet, and sweet-natured once she feels safe. She loves having her own cozy high-up vantage point where she can relax, observe her surroundings, and nap in peace. She demands to sleep on the same bed as you right next to your face!
Special Requirement: Single-pet home preferred. Smudge prefers her own personal space and thrives best as the only cat, or in a home with an experienced parent who can provide her a quiet, dedicated spot (like high cat trees or shelves) where she feels completely secure.
