She was found in Ranchi, roughly two months old. Her rescuer’s first guess about her sex turned out to be wrong: she’s female, not male, which makes her a comparatively rare ginger girl. Most orange cats are male, a quirk of how the colour gene is inherited, so a ginger female is the less common draw of the litter.

Genetics aside, she’s gentle, playful, and not shy at all.
