The story

Jagger is eleven months old, female, sterilised and vaccinated. She used to shelter inside an autorickshaw when it rained. Someone decided that was reason enough to poison her and beat her close to death. She lived.

An adoption was arranged for her out of state. It did not hold: two of the resident cats went after her, another stopped eating, and after three days she was sent back. Her rescuer is already caring for eighteen cats and cannot keep her, and will not put her back on the street.

So Jagger is looking again, at eleven months old, for the home that is actually the last one. She is in Mumbai. Her rescuer takes enquiries by email.
