The story

Blacky turned up at a building in Vasant Kunj with a maggot infestation in his ear severe enough to have killed him. He is five years old, already neutered, and he let strangers treat that ear from day one without a fight. Dogs who have never lived with people do not do that.

He is in a boarding facility now and needs roughly two more months of care before he is through it.

After that he cannot be put back on the street. Any reinfection in that ear could turn life-threatening fast, so he needs somewhere indoors where someone will notice early. That is the whole ask: a stable house and eyes on him.

He is friendly, and the rescuer would rather he were screened thoroughly than placed quickly.
