Social Media Intern
Location: Remote
Since 2010, Dog with Blog has facilitated 1,000+ adoptions and built a community of 100k+ pet parents across India, with reporting featured by National Geographic and HarperCollins. This isn’t the same internship as our Adoption Advocacy & Content Marketing role, that team writes the stories. We’re looking for someone to get those stories in front of people, every single day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the posting calendar: schedule what goes out, when, and on which platform, across Instagram, Pinterest, and X.
- Produce short-form content fast: turn the photos and story notes we hand you into a Reel or carousel, ready to publish.
- Run the community: reply to comments and DMs in real time, like a person who’s met a dog before, not a script.
- Scout what’s trending: spot sounds and formats worth trying before everyone else does.
- Report what worked: a weekly readout of saves, shares, and comments, not just likes.
Who You Are
- Internet-fluent: you use Instagram, Pinterest, or X like a person, not a marketer, and you can tell a good caption from a bad one on sight.
- Fast and hands-on: you’d rather post something today than plan something perfect for next week.
- A dog person: bonus points if you’ve fostered or adopted one yourself.
