Rani is looking for a forever home — Kochi

Hi friends,

This is Rani, a sweet lovechild of a Mudhol Hound and a beautiful street dog. Rani is 16 months old, vaccinated, dewormed and not spayed yet(she is still growing).

I found her at my worksite in MH-KA border last year. My work was hard so i loved their company and fell in love with her. Her brother was taken in by her father’s owner but the man wouldn’t take her in because she was “too sweet”. Her father was used to chase off pests in and around the sugarcane fields and her brother was indeed faster, stronger, bigger and meaner than her.

If i had left her there, she would have become a breeding machine or be killed by the people there as she jumped up on everybody. She was in a box between my legs for a 1000km and this sweet child did not make a fuss.

I took her from there with the intent of adopting her out when she had gained some weight but i did not have any luck through the channels i found, so i thought i would keep her. But recently my situation at home has changed and i would have to give up some of my babies. She currently lives in a big yard with 2 other dogs, a horse and cats, so she is socialised with many animals including goats and all humans too.
