The story
Update, October 2026: Blacky has been adopted. Thanks Surabhi and Disha for helping Blacky find a forever home! Please do share her pictures and videos with her new ‘furever’ humans.
Blacky is a rescued indie girl from New Delhi, about a year old, with the kind of eyes you remember. She is spayed and fully vaccinated.
Her friendliness is what got her hurt. People in her colony had no room for street dogs, and she carries the injuries they gave her. She never stopped trusting people. She still walks up to them with her tail going.
She is home. Nothing to do here.
We keep adopted pets on the site instead of deleting them. A page that worked is the best argument for the next person deciding whether to bother posting one.
