In reply to prachimane. Aptly said Prachi, the will always finds a way! :) Gald to know Whiskey's adoption story...hope more people would draw inspiraton and save the next Whiskey on the road. Keep up the good work!

We too got Whiskey the same way…both his hind legs were fractured by a car accident when he was a month old and we couldn’t see him crying on the street in pain…..we first thought we will get him adopted once he is fine…. but our conscience wouldn’t allow us to do that…. Now he is all of 5 months and super-active…..and ‘Ours’ 🙂

I will never forget that day we got him home….. In fact we are even thinking of getting another dog some time soon in spite of our busy work schedules…. Where there is a will…there IS a way!!

In todays world where there is no sensitivity in some people who call themselves humanbeings but do not understand the meaning of the word humanity as I can say by personal experience when at my latest workplace I was harrassed because I informed them truthfully that my cancer had returned in a small way ,someone who had the courage to adopt an Indian dog in aworld of false prestige and pretentions commands utmost respect and love.May God bless you both and little Elsa and we are happy to welcome her into our family once again on this auspicious day.

Lovely… So many of us pet owners share the same feelings… But not many of us know to express it out.. I wish our pets could read this.. 🙂 Just to let them understand how much they mean to us even if the world ignores them !

Kudos, the baby is indeed lucky. I understand completely, even though we don’t have much freedom after getting a dog for even a normal outing has to be planned so that Feedoh (our dog) is taken care of, we don’t mind a bit. It’s worth it.

Really a heart touching articulation. Specially the last two paras took me back to my memories of childhood days. The context is very apt as most of us want to have puppies in our homes but as rightly mentioned, where human lives are not valued who cares for animals.
Hats off to you guys!!!
