Dear Emilio, in India common people call a loyal servent, police and reporters scornfully by calling and abusing them as “dogs” But in fact our mythology knows that this animal is pious, virtuous!!! Please search “Khandoba” and “Dattatreya” on Wikipedia or google images and you will find that our mythology knows the animals virtues.
