‘Second largest human pool’ is one reason for the decline. More than money it is imperative that the ‘right’ people are picked.

Unlike with other jobs a different sensibility needs to come into play in those tasked to protect the Tiger.

Eventually it comes down to – secure the area, and the inhabitants will be secured.

@calvy : I sincerely pray that as this post of urs was more suggestive than just crisis apprising, and meaningfully so, the efforts of the NGO’s & corporates & governments….humanity, would be more than just an effort. May it be the clarion call to the starting of TH E STRIPED REVOLUTION. And may the future of our world awake in the light of a less embarassing and a less unfamiliar past. Some people around questioned the aircel initiative as how and what effect will and can an initiative bring that just aims at blogging, publishing stories and the like. But the dismal state that we are in is actually attributed to the lack of information and understanding of the gravity of this situation.
Liked the ideas generated in the blog. Being able to critically analyze and generate ideas is a major step to tackling a problem. Even if half of these can be implemented, we shall see Tigers in our forests, once again.

a tiger tv could be real good, we could possibly get some co.s to adopt a tiger reserve each, for increasing pay, benefits, equipment to a particular reserve.
